For the luminous, dewy complexion of these Louis Vuitton beauties, a liquid version is perfect -- here are a few favourites:

-- This weekend, I am in the girliest of moods -- wearing blush florals & a ponytail, I cannot stop thinking about bows & ribbons & pretty peplums & little french phrases. . . I feel like sitting at my dresser & playing with perfectly pretty lipsticks & painting my nails & flicking through the glossy pages of the new Harper's Bazaar. . .
I hope you Saturday is as pretty as mine! xx

believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at
leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the
prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and.... I believe in
After rising quite early every day this week, I've come to appreciate how fresh the morning air is at this beautiful time of year. . . Cool & crisp -- the sunlight is golden as the sun comes up & sets the tone for the day ahead. . . Yes, it is quite lovely. . . But, truth be told, I'm looking forward to nothing more than a sleep in tomorrow -- because the weekend is finally here!
Have an absolutely darling weekend,

For the longest time I've lived in a palette of neutralness -- with pale skin & fair hair I found comfort in pinks & nudes & beiges. . . But seemingly from thin air I've developed an absolute LOVE for bright colours & prints & wearing one or two or more in the same outfit! Embellished necklines, jacquard & jewel hues are always balanced with a comfortable, neutral mediator -- but there really are no other rules!
After a weekend spent mostly outside & a house filled with sweet scented pink roses -- it's understandable that I am experiencing a slight obsession with all things floral at the moment. . . No, it's not spring here -- but with the days growing shorter & becoming remarkably cooler, I find myself craving flowers & anything that reminds me of the outdoors. . . And so, to keep my dream alive, I may have to invest in a few more perfectly floral dresses. . . & pants. . . & blazers. . .
After the most wonderful week & weekend with visitors & birthday dinners & much coffee & beautiful long walks along the river, as well as still feeling the after-effects of an Easter long weekend (& an almost chocolate overdose!) -- I seem to be finding it hard to do anything but be outside with the absolutely beautiful weather at the moment. . .
So, I'm sorry the blogging has been a little scarce lately -- I will try my very best to find a happy medium between the outdoors & my computer & will be back soon with some absolutely charming posts!
I definitely hope your weekend has been as lovely as mine,
I'm finding it a little hard to 'get back to reality' after a perfect Easter long weekend. . . With a romantic trip up the coast to a little seaside holiday town, brunches & cocktail evenings, days spent in the garden & beautiful dinners with family (& a constant state of chocolate-bliss) -- the weekend just whirled by like a dream & before I knew what was happening it was Tuesday again! But a long weekend was precisely what was needed & now there are a few little plans starting to take shape & soon there will be some changes around the blog. . . So stay tuned!
I hope your Easter weekend was perfectly lovely --
Where would we be without serving trays? -- used day after day for delivering cocktails to guests at evening soirees & Sunday morning breakfasts in bed & carrying pots of tea & cups & biscuits for an afternoon tea -- but they need not be boring or plain, especially with a darling DIY such as this one, found at Lovely Indeed. . .
This DIY began with a wooden wine box with the ends shaped into handles -- but with so many plain & affordable trays available, would be much simpler to start with that. . .
